The Inhuman Woman

Haute Couture Collection
Autumn/Winter 2003/2004

Presented on Thursday July 10th 2003 at 2 p.m. in the Hôtel Bristol, rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, Paris.

Suddenly appearing from an imaginary desert, hidden behind pilot glasses, models parade up and down to ElectroDark melodies. The collection has in it a kind of wilderness and it plays on the various depths of black (black/red, black/blue, black/green).

Floods of necklaces, strings of pearls and shirtfronts of glass pearls, each one distinct. Large coats and boiled virgin wool jackets, shades of turquoise, khaki and red are matched with silk jersey dresses with the same tints. Small dresses made of painted silk scarves, wrap-over skirts are tied low on the hips, sequins and spangles form bracelets that circle the ear and make it bristle.

Casting by Anne Raybaud, music by Punky Julien, hair by Laurent Philippon, make-up by Jabe, accessories by Fred Sathal.
