Fall/Winter 1999/2000

Presented in the Espace Carole de Bona in March 1999, near the place des Victoires, Paris 2e.
It is my last ready-to-wear fashion show.

A rangy, spare, chic and urban style, made of noble materials such as two-layer wool crepe, silk chiffons, knitting, leather and lace, entirely lined with silk satin crepe.
The dominant colours are black and pearl grey.
Graphic, architectural and linear cuts.

The jackets, trousers, cloaks and scarves are embroidered with ‘shooting star’ stitches and set off with bright and flashy-coloured spangles. High collars, making the carriage even more slender. The hair is gathered in buns, woven with needle stitches with ‘number 5’ white pearl cotton thus extending ornamentation beyond the garment. The hats are made of leather. Shark teeth on a thin silver rod or chain in the ears and around the neck.
High-heeled court shoes enhanced with a ‘dorsal fin’ and ‘bird claw’ excrescence on the front.

Casting by Giannie Couji, the girls parade up and down to the sounds of DJ Valentin, hair sewn back by Jean-Claude Galon, Topolino will create a ‘pop glossy girl’ make-up, jewels by Agathe Saint Girons, coats of mail and metal gauze accessories by Simon Azoulay, ankle-boots by Karine Bonneval, graphic design on invitation cards by Jean Monnerat.

Collection presented during the Sao Paulo Fashion Week in June.

I win the ‘Femme en or’ Award for creativity in Courchevel.
