Paradise Rainbow

Haute Couture Collection
Spring/Summer 2003

Presented on January 23rd at 2.30 p.m. in the lounges of the Hôtel Bristol in Paris.

I am a ‘guest member’ in the official calendar of the French Federation of Haute Couture.

Work on fluidity, a tribute to summer, to the Water element, to light, colours and life. Drop-shaped patterns and cut-outs: from this simple shape, I create patterns and designs in applications embroidered with sequins and ‘crystal’ spangles for seven black dresses made of double-layered silk jersey; also swim jewels like Calder-like mobiles for naked skin, made of thermoformed plastic, and cut up, pearly, assembled with a net of thin silver chains.

A new version of the cruise spirit with large dresses made of Indian pink and blue Madonna heavy silk jersey, a XXL t-shirt and rainbow-coloured jogging bottoms, dresses and a cloak made of scarves −

Casting by Sophie Demarcq, coordination by Franck Nasso, music by Punky Julien, hair by Laurent Philippon, make-up by Tracy Gray, thermoformed plastic for jewel swimsuits by Simon Azoulay, graphic design on invitation cards by Adam Love.
