Shootin Life Star
Printemps/été 1995
Sunday October 16th: my first fashion show during the Paris Fashion Week.
In the Trianon, on boulevard Rochechouart, I present the Spring/Summer 1995 collection. By a stroke of luck, on a Sunday at 1 p.m., the sun fills the room.
The girls are hybrid, the ears wrapped in spangled natural leaves, hologram tattoos on the skin, slashed and frothy hair in washed-out neon-coloured hues. Torn silk chiffon dress with vegetable dyes. Mini-skirts with appliqué cut out patterns. Spangled sailor trousers. Backless dresses. Brass bracelets around the neck, the arms and the thighs.
This collection is the quintessential fusion between magical fantasizing, Manga aesthetics, the vegetable world and the electronic culture.
Casting by Maïda, scenography by Moche et Merveille, music by Warrio, lights by Thierry Dreyfus, hair by Barnabé, make-up by Topolino, backstage photographs by Jean-Marc Manson.
The clothes from this collection appear in Robert Altman’s Prêt-à-Porter.
